Place History:
The Basilica once served as a Franciscan center for prayer and spirituality (dedicated to St. Josaphat). Pope Pius XI created the Basilica in 1929. Many survivors took refuge here in the first years after the apocalypse. They feared the disease and the weather and outsiders in general and prayed for countless hours, night and day, for some sort of sign from God. Their dedication ended horribly. Nobody left the premises because they're faith in God was so strong that they believed he would save them all. Alas, everybody died. Skeletons and bodies still litter the Basilica, leaving a horrible stench to the place.

Roughly 10 years ago, a group of teenagers, pissed about the relentless stronghold that religion held on people, decided to redecorate the place. Skeletons form massive "artistic" structures. They thought it was the most beautiful form of art: femurs shoved through rib cages, feet dangling from forearms, skulls placed in circular patterns on the floors and walls. Could these magnificent structures be hiding something?

Of course not! Why would those teenagers leave anything of value in this god forsaken building? It's beautiful exterior is nothing more than a deceiving facade.
